Welcome to K-137!

Hello! My name is Mrs. D'Egidio, one of the kindergarten teachers here at P.S. 127! Kindergarten is such a special year filled with learning, growth, and fun, and I feel lucky to be part of your child's journey!

I love helping young learning build confidence as they explore reading, writing, math and new ideas. In our classroom, we focus on being kind, curious and brave learners. We celebrate trying our best and learning from our mistakes. 

I especially enjoy teaching phonics and early reading skills. Watching children discover the joy of reading is one of my favorite part of teaching!

I believe a positive, supportive classroom helps every child feel safe, happy, and ready to learn! I am looking forward to a wonderful year full of learning, laughter and growth!
