Hello! My name is Ms. Carestia, and I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. I love teaching right here in the community that helped shape who I am today.

I am a passionate 2nd grade teacher who truly loves helping young learners grow into confident readers, writers, and problem-solvers. Second grade is such a special year students become more independent, curious, and excited about learning. I believe learning should be fun, supportive, and full of encouragement, and I work hard to create a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to do their best.

I am so excited to be working with my students and families this year and look forward to a wonderful school year together! 💙📚
